Helijet Achieves Major Milestone
Continue ReadingHelijet International celebrated its two millionth passenger today, a major industry milestone the scheduled helicopter carrier has achieved after 25 years in business and flying more than 22 million kilometres. Helijet has been using InteliSys’ ameliaRES system since 2005. InteliSys’ Director of Sales, Craig Morrissey commented “This is a very important milestone for Helijet. We are very proud of them (Helijet). To achieve such a milestone takes great people, leadership and dedication. We are not surprised by their success, it is a true reflection of a great organization.”

InteliSys attends career fair booth at Vietnamese Lunar New Year’s
Continue ReadingInteliSys Aviation Systems accompanied Enterprise Greater Moncton to Toronto, Ontario showcasing the Greater Moncton Region as a great place to live, work and do business. InteliSys represented private business while representatives of Université de Moncton and McKenzie College also joined Enterprise Greater Moncton.
During the mission meetings were held with committees representing recent Polish, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian and Albanian immigrants to Toronto. Also Enterprise Greater Moncton hosted a trade show and career fair booth at the Vietnamese Lunar New Year’s Festival and had a dedicated section to perform on site interviews.
“There is a vast community of recent immigrants to Canada who are highly educated and skilled, but underemployed in the Toronto region. As a group we wanted to let these people know Moncton is a great place to live with an abundance of skilled career opportunities and great educational facilities.” said Frank Kays, Vice President of Operations at InteliSys “It was an honor for InteliSys to be part of this mission and represent private industry. The trip was a great success and we were able to interview several potential candidates who we are currently following up with”.

Vieques Air Link (VAL) has gone live with E-Ticketing through ameliaRES
Continue ReadingInteliSys Aviation Systems announces that Vieques Air Link (VAL), has issued their first E-Ticket through InteliSys’ ameliaRES system. VAL is an FAA certified carrier based in Vieques, Puerto Rico who has been utilizing the ameliaRES system to generate ticketless travel since 2009. Travel agents worldwide as well as Travel sites such as Expedia.com, are now selling E-Tickets for single and multiple airline ticketing on VAL’s flights. VietJetAir, VietNam’s First Private Airline Takes Off
Continue ReadingVietnam’s first private airline, VietJetAir commenced flying on December 24th 2011 and have already boosted flight frequency between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to 3 return flights daily to meet the rising demand of Vietnamese and international tourists. In September, 2011, VietJet Air signed a multi-year agreement with InteliSys for the amelia reservation system and implementation was achieved in record time. VietJetAir launched public ticket sales on November 24, 2011 and seat sales have been continually increasing. InteliSys’ CEO, Jock English commented “The VietJetAir team is highly motivated and very quickly launched all aspects of their airline. Our team at InteliSys worked long hours to meet VietJetAir’s tight timelines and we successfully handled a 10,000 VND ( $0.50 USD ) seat sale which resulted in system loads over 4 times the expected loads in year 2. VietJetAir has already become the country’s leading budget airline and we are very pleased to be working alongside such a strong team. VietJetAir currently flies Airbus A320 aircrafts to Vietnam’s three major economic and tourist hubs – Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Hanoi. Says the airline’s general director Pritam Singh, “The airline plans to increase its fleet by 3 to 5 aircraft annually to a fleet of 15 aircraft by early 2015, allowing the airline to fly to other destinations domestically and in the Asian region, including Macau, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.”

InteliSys Signs Multi-Year Deal with DAC Aviation
Continue ReadingInteliSys Aviation Systems announced today that it has signed a multi-year contract for provision of InteliSys’ amelia Airline Reservation Management System for DAC Aviation International who provide air transportation within Kenya and around the world.
The DAC Aviation Group has been a provider of air charter services for over 16 years, operating in areas such as Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Somalia, Zambia, Angola, Ethiopia and recently Afghanistan. DAC currently operates a fleet of Islanders, Trislanders and Grand Caravans to provide service between their destinations. DAC’s fleet is composed of Dash 8 series 100, 200 and 300 aircraft, two Cessna Grand Caravans (208B) with the introduction of a Bombardier CRJ 200LR in 2009.
InteliSys is providing DAC Aviation a full reservation management system complete with flight, fare and inventory management as well as travel agent, public web and call centre bookings.
