Today at Moncton City Hall InteliSys Aviation Systems and Hope Air announced the 3rd Annual Jock English Memorial Charity Golf Tournament on July 16, 2015 at the Memramcook Valley Golf Club in Memramcook, New Brunswick. Jock English was the former CEO of InteliSys Aviation Systems until his passing on November 12, 2012. Net proceeds from the tournament will go towards Hope Air to help provide free flights to low-income individuals in rural areas who require medical expertise or specialized medical technologies only available in larger urban centres. At todays press conference Frank Kays, CEO of InteliSys stated, “Jock was a colleague, mentor and true friend and on his passing I knew I wanted to do something to honor him.” Kays went on to say “In our first two years of the tournament we raised over $30K in total, and the event was very Greater Moncton/Shediac centric. This year we have a goal to raise over $20K and to make the event more Maritime focused. At InteliSys we want to help Hope Air help all those in the Maritimes get the health care they need so reaching out to the other provinces for teams and sponsors made perfect sense.”
This event is being organized and co-sponsored by InteliSys Aviation Systems and Pamela Reid (Jock’s wife of 15 years). Major sponsors for the event so far include BMW Moncon, Pacific Coastal Airlines, Aviators RM and Vision Coaching.
