On July 18th, 2013 at the Memramcook Valley Golf Club in Memramcook, New Brunswick, Canada, InteliSys Aviation Systems along with Pam Reid hosted 72 golfers and a total of 100 attendees at the Jock English Memorial Golf Tournament. Jock English was the President and CEO of InteliSys Aviation Systems until his passing on November 12, 2012. Net proceeds from the tournament will go towards Hope Air to help provide free flights to low-income individuals in rural areas who require medical expertise or specialized medical technologies only available in larger urban centres.
A total of $18,500 was raised in Mr. English’s honour, far surpassing the goal of $10,000 set by InteliSys. “I cannot begin to explain how happy I am with the tournament and the funds it was able to raise in Jock’s honour. There will be many people who will benefit from this event and will be able to get the medical attention they need. I know Jock would be very pleased with the day and the amount raised for Hope Air. He had a passion for the aviation industry as well as helping others; Hope Air brings those together.” Frank Kays, CEO of InteliSys went on to say, “On behalf of myself, the entire InteliSys team and Jock’s wife Pam, I would like to thank all of the golfers, volunteers and of course, our generous sponsors as this event could not have been the success it was without them.”
The tournament was hosted and organized by InteliSys Aviation Systems and Co-Sponsored by Pam Reid and Pacific Coastal Airlines of British Columbia. Other major sponsors of the event include VietJetAir of Vietnam, Hahn Air of Germany, Resource and Revenue Management of Australia, and Dynamic Transport from Bathurst, New Brunswick.
