InteliSys partners with Hope Air to raise money to provide free flights for Canadians in need.
InteliSys Aviation Systems proudly hosted the 4th annual Jock English Memorial Golf Tournament on July 14, 2016 at Lakeside Golf & Country Club in Moncton, New Brunswick.
It was a perfect, sunny day on the course as golfers, sponsors, Hope Air supporters and InteliSys employees gathered to celebrate the memory of former InteliSys CEO Jock English and raised money for a very worthy cause.
Jock English was the President and CEO of InteliSys Aviation Systems until his passing on November 12, 2012. Each year since, this tournament has been held in his honour to remember Jock and his contributions to InteliSys and to his community. Jock was an optimistic man who lived his life with joy and hope for a better tomorrow, so it made perfect sense to partner with Hope Air for this tournament. Net proceeds raised from the event go directly to Hope Air, providing free flights for Canadians in financial need living in rural areas who must travel to access healthcare that is unavailable in their home communities.
Hope Air is a Canadian charity helping to provide free flights for Canadians in financial need who must travel to access healthcare that is unavailable in their home communities.
Last year, Hope Air arranged 11,212 flights for Canadians in need, with 587 of these flights helping residents of the Maritime provinces.

“It was a great day to celebrate Jock. We had great support again for this event with a fun day of golf, prizes and all to aid Hope Air. I would like to thank all our sponsors for making this possible, especially our annual major sponsors VietJetAir, a leading Low Cost Carrier in Southeast Asia, and Pacific Coastal Airlines, a very strong regional airline in BC.
This year we had a local Hope Air client, Elizabeth Doherty, kickoff the day by telling her story and how Hope Air has helped change her life. This powerful message brought a tear to many and was a great way to connect the golfers to Hope Air.
We look to continue to honor Jock next year and are talking about some exciting changes to make this event even bigger.”
– Frank Kays, CEO of InteliSys Aviation Systems

Major event sponsors this year were: VietJet Air of Vietnam, Pacific Coastal Airlines of British Columbia, Greater Moncton International Airport, Pam Reid, WestJet, Maxamation of Australia, Career Beacon, Rockwell Collins, Travelport, Vision Coaching Inc. and Wilson Insurance.
A big thank you to all sponsors of the tournament!
